Performance Training

Performance testing and programme design - Performance testing encompasses a variety of physiological, biomechanical, nutritional and lifestyle assessments to evaluate baseline performance status. Tests can either be designed in a sports specific nature to replicate the demands of a sport or activity, or carried out in a general form in a laboratory setting. At Three Sixty we can carry out assessments for:

  • Running mechanics
  • Functional Movement Screen
  • Aerobic Performance
  • Cycling specific assessments for power distribution efficiency (right v left leg) , aerobic performance and cycling efficiency – WATTBIKE
  • Nutrition and Dietary analysis including body composition (body weight, fat mass, lean muscle mass distribution)
  • Power tests

From these tests and working closely with our injury management team we are able to design and implement performance enhancing and injury prevention programmes. All programmes will be individualised.

Prices for testing are dictated by the type of assessment and individual requirements. Packages are available on request.

Performance Nutrition

Nutrition can play a vital role in ensuring you make the most of training adaptations. Whether you are building up or recovering from training or competition, providing a diet of balanced nutrients ensures your fuelling demands are met. Performance nutritionists assist in applying the most up to date scientific evidence in a practical way. In addition, supplementary nutrition is an area of constant change and can be confusing. Having specialists break down the confusion leads to making the right choices for your particular sport and your energy demands. Finally, being correctly hydrated ensuring fluid balances are met. Therefore, we can use a variety of testing methods to ensure your individual hydration needs are being met.
